There are a couple of very basic truths to success for most Internet business websites.

Most Internet businesses rely of visitors for their success. Without customers in the door, what's the point?

Most people find what they are looking for on the Internet via search engines or directories (Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc).

Pretty much all website managers know websites "need to get listed in the search engines." So they try to get listed on the search engines under some really popular keywords like "cosmetics" or "truck sales." But unfortunately, these keywords are also sought after by tens of thousands of other websites. It's almost hopeless to think that you'll get a top 10 rating under one of those keywords.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a tool to determine what keywords people commonly search for, but but where there isnt much competition?

Case Study

Lets say that 2,700 people searched for the keyword "cosmetics" in the last 60 days. At last glance, there are 1.3 million websites on Altavista that come up under the search "cosmetics." It's a 1:500 chance in that any one of those 1.3 million websites will see even a single customer.

But by using Wordtracker, we can input the keyword "cosmetics," and it will come up with hundreds of related searches. Then it will cross-index that with the number of poeple who searched for that keyword, and the number of competing websites for that keyword.

What did we find out for the keyword cosmetics? The keyword "prom makeup" only had 300 searches over the last 60 days, but there are only 90 competing websites. Those are much better odds! Even a more commen keyword like "makeup tips", which had 900 searches and 7000 competing websites is going to provide a much better chance at providing traffic to your site.

Now, the best news of all. Wordtracker has a FREE TRIAL! Click here to get started now. The only thing you have to lose is customers.
