Development & Management Plan
If you are looking for our programming section,
go here.
We encourage the development of a
plan for all websites. It is our belief that a website without
a plan is a website doomed to fail. Some steps for developing
a website plan are:
- Define the goals of the website. Generally,
these should align well with the goals of the brick and mortor
business.
- Define any website features. From E-Commerce
to Bulletin Boards, it is good to know what features you are
looking for before selecting a host provider.
- Perform a market analysis report. Who on the
web is already doing what you intend to do, how well are they
doing it, and what resources will be required to compete?
- Determine who will develop, deploy, and administer
your website.
- Determine where and how your website will be
deployed.
- Develop a marketing strategy, or upgrade your
existing marketing strategy to include e-marketing.
- Set data-based decision points for success.
For example: "If the website isn't generating 10 orders
for wigits/day by the end of 120 days, re-evaluate marketing
plan."
Websites are not smart bombs - "fire and
forget" doesn't work here. Developing a plan for your website
and actively administering it based on the business' goals is
the best way to set your site apart from the masses.
If you would like us to assist you with your website
development and management plan, please contact
us. Because every business has different needs, we cannot
effectively provide a "one size fits all" solution.
However, we will gladly provide you with an estimate and an outline
of the work to be performed.
